Global Reporting Format and Canadian Runway Friction Index

Global Reporting Format is here! Are you ready? A one day course covering in detail the methodology and application of reporting the condition of airport maneuvering areas utilizing the new Global Reporting Format (GRF). Topics covered include applicable Canadian Aviation Regulations, use of NES in both digital and paper, vehicle requirements and decelerometer use. This course also includes the physical, practical application of friction calculation exactly as it would be done in the field using on site equipment.

AIRPORT WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT

A one day course covering in detail the required knowledge to deal with wildlife at your airport. The course covers all topics as required in Canadian Aviation Regulations TP322. Training in wildlife management is a requirement for all airport personnel at a certified airport, as outlined in Canadian Aviation Regulations TP302. These regulations also dictate that this training must occur every five years at a minimum.

Global Airport Services is based in Alberta and is owned and operated by William Stewart.

William Stewart has been working in the field of airports management for over 10 years. This experience has spanned from busy certified central hub airports to smaller up and coming registered airports, all with their own unique challenges. William is also engaged with the greater airports community by volunteering his time with several airport related boards, including the position of Vice President (north) at the Saskatchewan Aviation Council, Chair at the Alberta Airport Management Association and Director at the Regional Community Airports of Canada. William’s passion for all things airport is found in everything that he does and has driven the creation of Global Airport Services.
